My name is Valentine, I launched Atelier Gaby in 2021 after buying a sewing machine online to keep myself busy during yet another lockdown! I quickly devoured lots of sewing tutorials on YouTube so I could participate in craft markets.
Very quickly, my product range expanded because there are 1001 things to create in a workshop! And me… I want to explore them all (that could be my slogan, a little crazy I admit).
Today, Atelier Gaby has grown considerably, exports its products to partner shops and has obtained great recognition such as a nomination for “Sustainable Entrepreneur of Brussels” at the Womenpreneur Awards in 2022 and the awarding of the Artisan Label by the FPS Economy in 2025.

Behind the brand name and logo lies a beautiful family story. Gaby was my grandmother. I wanted to pay tribute to her through my shop.
The choice of floral fabrics evokes the dresses she loved to wear, while the little boat in my logo refers to the origami she used to make for me when I was a child.
By purchasing a product from Atelier Gaby, you too are helping to keep her memory alive: part of each sale is donated to research against Alzheimer's disease (Stop Alzheimer Belgium), which she unfortunately suffered from.
In each order, you'll find a sticker depicting a forget-me-not , the flower of remembrance. Because if I keep the memory of my grandmother alive through Atelier Gaby, you too will keep a little memento of Atelier Gaby thanks to this sticker.
